Stabil folkfest tillsammans med Volbeat

KONSERT Mixen från medryckande melodier och enstaka ovanligt fräsch frontman sängar för enstaka folkfest.

Plats: Tele2 Arena, huvudstaden. Publik: 33  i runda slängar. Längd: Cirka numeriskt värde timmar. Bäst: ”Sorry sack of bones”, ”Lonesome rider” och ”Still counting” existerar lika spännande som störtsköna i natt. Sämst: ”Leviathan” är ett megamesig öppningslåt. Bakläxa vid den, Volbeat.


För snart 15 år sedan svepte Volbeat in vilket en frisk fläkt ovan hårdrockscenen.

Danskarnas udda kombo från lättuggad Metallica-thrash och rockabilly på debutalbumet "The Strength/The Sound/The Songs" tog mig och flera andra tillsammans storm.

Men sedan decennieskiftet besitter gruppens himlakropp sakteligen svalnat.

På de två–tre senaste albumen har bandet mest upprepat sig själva.

Inte minst vid ”Rewind, replay, rebound”, vilket i massiv utsträckning består av tråkiga tappningar från tidigare material.

Nuförtiden är Volbeat ett grupp att uppleva live, snarare än inom hörlurarna.

På scen ryms både gnista samt glöd.

Under ett sval samt svag uppstart med bleka ”Leviathan” samt ”Lola Montez” sås dem första frön
