Två OS-silver inom segling?

Det existerar fullt möjligt, sedan den svenska besättningen bestående från Anton Dahlberg och Fredrik Bergström bland annat segrat i den sista delseglingen.

Duon äger ett starkt medaljläge inför avgörandet vid onsdag.

Uppdatering: Svenskarna slutade tvåa i medaljracet och säkrade OS-silvret.

Dahlberg samt Bergström – regerande världsmästare i tvåmansjollen och sexa i grenen på OS i Rio – existerar på god väg för att upprepa Josefin Olssons bragd och bärga hem ännu ett OS-silver i segling till Sverige.

De tio delseglingarna är gjorda – samt den svenska herrbesättningen avslutade starkt tillsammans med en delseger (sin tredjeplats totalt). dem klättrar tillsammans med det resultatet till enstaka andraplats inom sammandraget samt har därmed förstärkt sitt medaljläge inför morgondagens medaljrace, dit dem tio besättningarna med bäst poäng går vidare på grund av att slåss om OS-medaljerna.

Anton Dahlberg

Swedish sailor (born )

Anton Carl Diderik Dahlberg (born 10 May ) is a Swedish sailor, who specializes in the class, a two-person dinghy.[1][2] He has represented Sweden, along with his partner Sebastian Östling, in two editions of the Olympic Games ( and ), and with Fredrik Bergström in and , winning an Olympic silver in He has been representing the Royal Swedish Yacht Club throughout most of his career.[1]

Throughout his career he has been coached by Per Frykholm and Viktor Bergström.[1][3]

Sailing career

Early years

Dahlberg, born in Växjö, started sailing in Växjö Kappseglingsklubb on Helgasjön.[4][5][6] He sailed the Optimist dinghy and finished 6th in both the and the Optimist World Championship, as well as fourth with the Swedish team in the team event at the edition.[7][8][9] In , he was a awarded the Gedda Trophy for the Swedish Junior Sailor of the Year by the Swedish Sailing Federation.[10]

Emma Lovisa Karlsson (born 24 May ) is a Swedish sailor.[1] She represented Sweden at the Summer Olympics, finishing 14th in women's event, and won the European Championships in the mixed event.

Karlsson represents the Royal Gothenburg Yacht Club.[2]

Lovisa Karlsson, together with Olivia Bergström, qualified to represent Sweden in the Tokyo Summer Olympics, competing in the women's event and ranking 14th.[3][4][2]

After the Summer Olympics and the end of the women's event in the Olympics, Karlsson teamed up with Anton Dahlberg, silver medalist in the men's event in the same Olympics, to campaign for the Summer Olympics.[5] They made their first regatta together in the Semaine Olympique Française in Hyères, which they won.[6]

In September , Dahlberg and Karlsson won the European Championships in Çeşme, Turkey.[7] At the World Championship in Sdot Yam a month later, they finished 13th and therefore not qualified for the medal race.[8]
